When faced with closing down your
store or shop you must do a lot of heavy lifting. Things go in storage
or to the dump. Friends and customers show up looking for "gifts". The
cost of hiring an auction company does not appeal to some who are cash
strapped. But auction companies will work with you if they see value in
your assets.
Liquidating should be your first choice. Beginning with out of
business sales if possible. When time is closing in auctions can move
things out quickly. But an auction with the wrong buyers on hand will
not help your cash situation. As liquidators we pay on average a higher
price and do not take away a percentage of the sale as auction companies
